CAREERS

At Allen & Associates, L.L.P. we seek hard working attorneys with multi-faceted minds and creative approaches to the practice. An appreciation and understanding of the energy sector area is a requirement. Attorneys should be able to express themselves clearly and concisely. New associates should be good team-players who can work independently when required, and are expected to actively contribute to both problem solving and strategic development. Our lawyers are also expected to actively participate in the local community with both legal and civic work.

Compensation for all positions is commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Further, any and all hires are subject to a 6 month trial period.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Allen & Associates, L.L.P. provides its associates with hands-on experience that contributes to each associate’s development as an attorney. New attorneys are given the opportunity to work directly with seasoned lawyers, pursue crucial training and mentoring, and form valuable working relationships.

The Firm takes great pride in its attorneys and in their ability to work together toward a common goal. All partners at the Firm are accessible, and associates depend on the guidance of more senior attorneys to support their learning and acclimation through long term mentoring. Our firm is one of very few oil, gas, and mineral law firms to actively seek out and train young attorneys in the fundamentals of title examination.  Dozens of practicing title attorneys state-wide started out of law school at this law firm.
